Events
Between the restaurants, bars, events - like First Fridays Florence, and the occasional after-hour performances, there’s always music Downtown – we like to attribute that quality to the Tennessee River, or as we know it the “Singing River.” Florence is home to fashion designers, Grammy award-winners, and some of the most diverse, successful chefs in the nation. The second Handy Block Party will be hosted as a featured event of the W.C. Handy Music Festival in downtown Florence. More details to come!
The 2022 Florence Christmas Parade presented by Bank Independent will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, starting at 7:00 p.m.
On the first Friday of each month from May through December, Historic Downtown Florence comes alive with art, music, shopping, and entertainment for the whole family! Enjoy the sights and sounds around every corner, dine in one of our fine restaurants, shop at our galleries and stores, or take a leisurely stroll to enjoy one-of-a-kind art and the finest live music around!
